I spent 20 years thinking that writing about, promoting, or selling rock and roll music would be my life’s (eventual) calling, only to find out that I’d rather it be a hobby than a way to make a living. Now I live in the Washington, DC area and I have a real job and a 401k and I consume more music than I ever have. Hey if you’re the guy that created POOP for Oblivion I just want to say THANK-YOU!
I recently dusted off its DVD and started contemplating what types of mods I wanted, to make it enjoyably playable. Not long afterward the frustration and headaches started – at the prospect of getting a bunch of different mods to do their thing without breaking each other or the game.
A few days ago I discovered Arwen’s Oblivion Journal and it’s great too. She hasn’t created a download of all her mods like you did but she has rather meticulously listed what she uses, and why, and provided links to each – along with listing her mod load order.
If I hadn’t found POOP I’d likely have rebuilt O by following her example. You’ve saved me from what would be a much longer process than following your instruction – which I’ll get to tonight.
To think that I used to hate POOP. Now I love it!
