See? Now you don’t have to sweat buying me a present!
If you’ve spent any time around me drinking my beer and chilling on the porch, you’ve probably been stuck listening to one of my favorite “where the hell has this band been all my life” discoveries. It’s a Tennessee band called Glossary, and their 2006 album is called FOR WHAT I DON’T BECOME, and the damn thing is so good it hurts.
They’ve got a new disc coming out in October. It’ll be called THE BETTER ANGELS OF OUR NATURE. Cool title, right?
Even cooler: Starting on October 2nd, the whole damn thing is free to download from the band’s website at http://www.glossary.us.
Dunno if JT ever reads this infrequently updated blog, but if he hasn’t already found ’em, Johnny Merlot, this is your new favorite band ever.
